Shannalee Baird is a wife, mom to a fun and spirited 4-year-old, and a passionate early childhood music educator. Since 2013, she has been sharing the joy of music with young children and their families in schools throughout Montana and Utah. She is excited to offer family music classes at UCC Missoula and music class at Missoula Valley Montessori for the 2nd year now.

Shannalee is the proud recipient of four Platinum Awards for Missoula CommunityVotes, recognized for Best Children's Entertainer, Best Art & Enrichment Program, Best Youth Music Lesson, and Best Music Lesson-an honor that reflects her passion for creating joyful, meaningful musical experiences for children and families.

She believes music is so much more than an art form. It's a powerful tool for learning, connection, and healthy brain development. During the early years, when children's brains are growing at an incredible pace, music helps build language, movement, social-emotional skills, creativity, and confidence.

Using the multi-award-winning Gumnut Music curriculum, Shannalee creates engaging, child-led classes that are thoughtfully designed for each stage of development. Through singing, dancing, storytelling, movement, and imaginative play, children and their grown-ups learn and grow together in a joyful, welcoming environment. After training with leading experts in early childhood music education, Shannalee is passionate about helping families make music together while building a warm and supportive community.
