Admission Policy

Missoula Valley Montessori offers high quality Montessori education from ages 2 through 6 (Kindergarten). A child should be three by September 10th to enter into our preschool program. However, we have rolling enrollment policy, therefore, if your child turns 3 after September 10th and is ready, please contact us regarding availability.

Potty Training: Children entering our Early Learners program need not be potty trained as learning to use the toilet will be part of the curriculum. Children entering our primary (3-6) program need to be potty trained. If your child is three years old and not using the toilet he or she will start in our Early Learners program and may transition to the primary classroom when ready.

We admit students in the following order

  • Returning students
  • Siblings of students
  • New students

Missoula Valley Montessori supports the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics that children receive the recommended immunizations.

Our admission process is comprised of a school visit and completion of registration forms.

In the situation where there are more qualified candidates than space available, a non-discriminate waiting list will be established.

Missoula Valley Montessori does not discriminate in admissions, educational programs, or employment against any individual on account of that individual's sex, race, color, religion, age, handicap or national or ethnic origin.
